Nylon / Polyamide 66

Nylon PA66 hex head bolts combine a strong plastic fastening with an external hexagonal head for spanner or socket tightening. Across the natural and black options, thread sizes run from M8 to M24 and lengths from 20 to 150 mm. Packs contain 3, 5, 10 or 20 bolts, depending on the product.

Where are nylon hex head bolts useful?

Electrical enclosures, electronics and workshop repairs benefit from nylon's electrical insulation, high pull strength and low weight. PA66 also provides high wear and impact resistance while remaining inherently flexible. It resists organic solvents, fuels and oils, with moderate resistance to weak acids. Nylon will not rust, but it absorbs moisture and prolonged wet exposure reduces its strength. That makes the expected moisture exposure a meaningful part of choosing these bolts for a damp installation.
