For one-metre M8 studding, the available materials are natural PA66, reinforced PA66, white polypropylene and white PTFE. The rods provide continuous M8 thread over 1000mm with a 1.25mm pitch.

Will you use the full metre or cut shorter sections?

Plan the required threaded spans before cutting so the stock can be divided efficiently. Material can then be selected separately: standard or reinforced nylon for different rigidity needs, polypropylene for a lightweight low-moisture option, or PTFE where low friction is useful.
