- Slim M8 PP thread for adjustable spacers, guide rods and alignment pieces where a lightweight plastic bar is preferred.
- Polypropylene absorbs very little moisture and is electrically insulating, useful in suitable damp or mixed-material assemblies.
- Full 1000 mm length can be cut into matched spacers or shorter threaded sections without losing the continuous thread form.
- Use with compatible M8 nuts; check joint design and avoid over-tightening plastic threads. Also known as studding, allthread, threaded bar.
Product Summary
These white polypropylene (PP) M8 x 1000 mm threaded rods are supplied as a pack of 2 fully threaded plastic bars. The slimmer M8 size suits adjustable spacers, guide rods, alignment pieces and light non-metallic fixing points where a metal rod is not needed. PP is lightweight, electrically insulating and absorbs very little moisture, with resistance to many aqueous acids and alkalis when the environment is suitable. PP is inherently flexible, so check the joint design, nut engagement and service conditions before fitting. Cut to length for matched spacers or shorter threaded sections. Supplied with 4 nuts.
