- Toughness and abrasion resistance make PA66 suitable for workshop studding and light fixtures.
- PA66 can absorb moisture, which may affect its dimensions and mechanical properties.
- The 1000 mm length can be kept whole or cut into several matching M5 threaded sections.
- Use for panel spacing, custom stand-offs, light brackets and cut-to-length plastic threaded rods. Also known as studding, allthread, threaded bar.
Product Summary
These M5 x 1000 mm natural PA66 nylon threaded rods are supplied as two fully threaded plastic bars for custom stand-offs, panel spacing, light fixtures and non-metallic threaded runs. PA66 provides toughness and wear resistance for workshop assemblies that do not need metal studding. The 1000 mm length gives room for several shorter pieces or one longer run. Allow for nylon’s moisture uptake if dimensional stability is critical, and use compatible M5 nuts with sensible tightening force. Supplied with 4 nuts.
