PVDF socket head bolts provide a natural-colour plastic fastening for electrical enclosures and assembly work involving chemical contact. This range covers M3, M4, M5 and M6 threads, with lengths from 20 to 40 mm across the category. All five listed products are supplied in packs of 10.

What are the benefits of PVDF bolts?

PVDF combines mechanical strength and abrasion resistance with electrical insulation. It is highly resistant to acids and solvents and also resists weathering and UV exposure. These characteristics make the material relevant when the fastening must tolerate moisture or outdoor exposure as well as chemical contact.

Which chemicals need special consideration with PVDF?

Strong bases, caustics, esters and ketones are limitations of PVDF. Chemical resistance must therefore be matched to the substance involved. The socket head provides an internal drive, so access to the head is part of the fastening arrangement.
