PEEK hex head bolts provide a rigid, strong plastic fastening for applications involving heat, hot water or steam. This natural-colour range contains M10 and M12 bolts, both 65 mm long, in packs of 5. The external hexagonal head is tightened with a spanner or socket, giving a different drive arrangement from a socket head bolt.

What makes PEEK useful at high temperatures?

PEEK has high thermal stability up to 250 °C and maintains excellent electrical insulation in high heat. It also withstands hot water and steam, making it useful when those conditions are part of an electrical enclosure or workshop fastening requirement. The material combines high pull strength and impact resistance with rigidity and high wear resistance. It holds its shape well and is inherently flame-retardant, while retaining a high strength-to-weight ratio.
