Product Summary:
PTFE provides excellent electrical insulation, characterised by high dielectric strength and low dielectric constant. PTFE is a high performance thermoplastic with remarkable chemical resistance and a wide temperature range from -400°F to 500°F (-73°C to 204°C). It repels both water and oils, and has a low coefficient of friction, making it suitable for non-stick and lubrication applications. PTFE is durable, flexible and has average tensile strength but exceptional resistance to chemicals, heat and electrical discharge.
