- Fully threaded, with a metric thread and 0.7 mm pitch; the knurled head gives a firm grip for tightening and adjusting by hand, without tools
- Electrically insulating and non-magnetic: for fixings in electrical cabinets, control boxes and electronics enclosures
- Lightweight nylon that does not rust: resists most organic solvents, fuels, oils and weak bases
- The slotted head also takes a flat-blade screwdriver for final tightening; also called knurled screws or finger screws
