The M6 metric thread has a 1 mm pitch, and the pan head is 11.8 mm across and 4.5 mm high, with a cross recess for a cross-head screwdriver. Nylon is lightweight, tough and resistant to wear and impact, electrically insulating and non-magnetic, and it does not rust, so these screws suit electrical cabinets, control boxes and electronics enclosures as well as damp locations where metal fixings would corrode.
