- Glass-fibre reinforced: stiffer, with higher tensile and flexural strength than unfilled PA66
- Higher heat deflection temperature and lower moisture absorption than unfilled PA66; the screws do not rust and are non-magnetic
- Cross recess for a cross-head screwdriver; the wide pan head spreads the load over a larger area
Product Summary
50 pan head machine screws in 50% glass-fibre reinforced nylon (PA66+GF), M8 x 20 mm, each supplied with a nut and a washer. The M8 metric thread has a 1.25 mm pitch, and the pan head is 15.8 mm across and 5.8 mm high, with a cross recess for a cross-head screwdriver. The glass fibre makes the material stiffer and stronger in tension and bending than unfilled PA66, and it has a higher heat deflection temperature. It also absorbs less moisture. The screws do not rust, are non-magnetic and suit machinery and equipment housings. Pan head screws with a cross recess are also called crosshead or cross-recess pan screws.
