    Product Summary

    These M8 x 500 mm white PTFE threaded rods are supplied as two larger fully threaded plastic bars. M8 gives more handling area than smaller PTFE sizes and is useful for light alignment bars, adjustable spacer runs and non-metallic threaded sections where a smooth plastic thread is preferred. PTFE offers low friction, electrical insulation and broad chemical compatibility in suitable conditions. PTFE is relatively soft and can deform under sustained loads, so it should be used where this behaviour is acceptable. Cut carefully if shorter sections are required and use compatible M8 nuts without excessive torque. Supplied with 4 nuts.
