- Use for light compact assemblies and short stand-offs; check suitability before tightening the plastic thread. Also known as studding, allthread, threaded bar.
Product Summary
These M8 x 200 mm white PTFE threaded rods are supplied as two short, fully threaded plastic bars. The compact M8 size is useful where a larger-diameter plastic thread is wanted but only a short section is needed, such as spacer blocks, enclosure fixtures, light alignment points and custom non-metallic studs. PTFE provides low surface friction, electrical insulation and broad chemical compatibility in suitable environments, but it is relatively soft and should be tightened with care. Use with compatible M8 nuts and verify the final application for load, temperature, exposure and thread engagement. Supplied with 4 nuts.
