- PTFE’s low-friction surface is useful where the threaded rod also acts as an adjustable spacer or positioning element.
- Non-conductive plastic body helps isolate the fixing path in suitable electrical or mixed-material assemblies.
- The 1000 mm length can be cut to matching spacer lengths, giving more control than a pre-cut short rod.
- Use with compatible M8 nuts for light-duty spacing, alignment and custom plastic-studding work; avoid over-tightening. Also known as studding, allthread, threaded bar.
Product Summary
These M8 x 1000 mm white PTFE threaded rods are supplied as a pair of fully threaded plastic studding bars. M8 is a practical mid-range size for adjustable spacers, stand-offs, light fixing points and non-metallic assemblies where a smooth plastic thread is useful. PTFE is valued for low friction, electrical insulation and broad chemical compatibility. It can deform under sustained loads. The full 1000 mm length can be cut down for shorter runs or matching spacer lengths. Use with compatible M8 nuts and check load, temperature and chemical exposure before fitting. Supplied with 4 nuts.
