- M5 provides a broader PTFE thread for mid-size spacers, alignment bars and cut-to-length plastic studding.
- Low-friction PTFE helps where nuts need to move cleanly along the threaded section during setup.
- The 500 mm length can be used as a longer spacer run or divided into shorter threaded sections.
- Use for light-duty spacing, non-metallic joining and custom fixture work; check the assembly before final tightening. Also known as studding, allthread, threaded bar.
Product Summary
These M5 x 500 mm white PTFE threaded rods are supplied as two fully threaded plastic bars for light-duty spacing, alignment and custom plastic-studding work. The M5 thread is suitable for mid-size assemblies and careful cut-to-length use. PTFE offers low friction, electrical insulation and broad chemical compatibility in suitable environments. PTFE can deform under sustained loads, so the design should allow for this behaviour. Use with compatible M5 nuts and check load, temperature and chemical exposure before fitting. Supplied with 4 nuts.
