Low-friction PTFE helps reduce sticking at thread contact points while keeping the fixing non-metallic and electrically insulating.

Supplied in metre length as a pair, with continuous external thread for flexible nut positioning or cutting to length.
Best for light-duty technical assemblies where PTFE material behaviour is useful and the joint has been properly checked. Also known as studding, allthread, threaded bar.

Product Summary

These M5 x 1000 mm white PTFE threaded rods are supplied as a pair of fully threaded plastic bars. The M5 size gives a useful mid-size plastic thread for jigs, housings, adjustable spacers and non-metallic fixing layouts. PTFE offers very low friction, electrical insulation and broad chemical resistance for applications where a non-metallic threaded rod is needed. It is not a direct strength substitute for metal studding; keep loads modest, avoid over-tightening and confirm chemical suitability before installation. Supplied with 4 nuts.
