- Small M3 PTFE rods suit fine adjustment, light spacing and alignment where a smooth plastic thread is useful.
- Non-conductive PTFE helps separate the fixing path from nearby metal or electrical parts in suitable assemblies.
- The 500 mm length gives room to cut several short pieces while keeping a continuous threaded form.
- Use for light-duty spacers, jig work, small stand-offs and non-metallic fixing points; avoid over-tightening plastic threads. Also known as studding, allthread, threaded bar.
Product Summary
These M3 x 500 mm white PTFE threaded rods are supplied as a pair of fully threaded plastic studding bars. The small M3 thread suits light spacing, alignment, non-metallic fixing points and custom cut lengths where a metal rod is not needed. PTFE is valued for low friction, electrical insulation and broad chemical compatibility. It can deform under sustained loads. The 500 mm length can be used as supplied or cut into shorter sections for matching spacers and small assemblies. Use with compatible M3 nuts and check load, temperature, chemical exposure and thread engagement before fitting. Supplied with 4 nuts.
