- PTFE gives low friction, electrical insulation and broad chemical resistance, useful where a small non-metallic threaded rod is preferred.
- Fine M3 format — suited to light spacing, alignment and isolation jobs rather than high-load fastening.
- Fully threaded along the full 1000 mm length, so it can be used as a long rod or cut into shorter plastic studs.
- Use with correctly sized metric nuts and washers; avoid over-tightening because PTFE is relatively soft. Also known as studding, allthread, threaded bar.
Product Summary
These M3 x 1000 mm white PTFE threaded rods are supplied as a pair of fully threaded plastic studding bars. The small 3 mm diameter and 0.5 mm pitch suit fine spacing, alignment and isolation work where a metal rod is not required. PTFE gives a low-friction, electrically insulating, non-metallic thread and broad chemical resistance for suitable environments. Because PTFE is relatively soft and can deform under sustained loads, it should be used for light-duty assemblies with load, thread engagement and chemical compatibility checked before use. The 1000 mm length can be cut down to shorter studs or spacer rods as needed. Supplied with 4 nuts.
