Product Summary:
These M3 x 1000 mm white PTFE threaded rods are supplied as a pair of fully threaded plastic studding bars. The small 3 mm diameter and 0.5 mm pitch suit fine spacing, alignment and isolation work where a metal rod is not required. PTFE gives a low-friction, electrically insulating, non-metallic thread and broad chemical resistance for suitable environments. Because virgin PTFE is softer and less stiff than many engineering plastics or steel, it should be used for light-duty assemblies with load, thread engagement and chemical compatibility checked before use.
