- Large-format PTFE rod for applications needing a broad non-metallic M16 thread rather than a metal bar.
- Useful where low friction, electrical insulation and chemical compatibility are relevant to the assembly design.
- The full 1000 mm length gives flexibility for long spacers or cut-down sections without losing threaded form.
- Use only for compatible light-duty assemblies; check load, temperature, chemical exposure and thread engagement. Also known as studding, allthread, threaded bar.
Product Summary
These M16 x 1000 mm white PTFE threaded rods are supplied as two fully threaded plastic bars. The broad M16 thread suits large-format light-duty spacing, alignment, isolation and custom non-metallic assemblies where a plastic threaded rod is preferred. PTFE offers low friction, electrical insulation and broad chemical compatibility, but it can deform under sustained loads. Use for compatible light-duty work, cut to length if required, and check load, temperature and chemical exposure before use. Supplied with 4 nuts.
