    Product Summary

    These M12 x 500 mm white PTFE threaded rods are supplied as a pair of large-format fully threaded plastic bars. M12 gives a larger diameter for light spacing, alignment, custom stand-offs and non-metallic positioning where PTFE material properties are more important than metal strength. PTFE offers low surface friction, electrical insulation and broad chemical compatibility in suitable environments. PTFE is relatively soft and can deform under sustained loads, so the design should allow for this behaviour. Use compatible M12 nuts, avoid high clamping force and verify load, temperature, chemical exposure and thread engagement before fitting. Supplied with 4 nuts.
