- Large-format M12 PTFE provides a manageable plastic thread for spacing, alignment and custom stand-offs.
- PTFE is non-conductive and low-friction, useful where the fixing should remain a plastic interface.
- The 500 mm fully threaded bar can be kept as a long section or cut carefully for shorter parts.
- Use for light-duty positioning and non-metallic spacer assemblies; avoid high clamping force on plastic threads. Also known as studding, allthread, threaded bar.
Product Summary
These M12 x 500 mm white PTFE threaded rods are supplied as a pair of large-format fully threaded plastic bars. M12 gives a larger diameter for light spacing, alignment, custom stand-offs and non-metallic positioning where PTFE material properties are more important than metal strength. PTFE offers low surface friction, electrical insulation and broad chemical compatibility in suitable environments. PTFE is relatively soft and can deform under sustained loads, so the design should allow for this behaviour. Use compatible M12 nuts, avoid high clamping force and verify load, temperature, chemical exposure and thread engagement before fitting. Supplied with 4 nuts.
