These M12 x 300 mm white PTFE threaded rods are supplied as two fully threaded plastic bars. The larger M12 thread gives a handable non-metallic section for compact spacer blocks, enclosure fixing points, alignment posts and custom stand-offs where a plastic rod is preferred. PTFE offers low surface friction, electrical insulation and broad chemical compatibility in suitable environments. It is softer and less rigid than metal, so the thread should be tightened carefully and matched to the application.
