- Polypropylene is lightweight and absorbs very little moisture, useful for simple non-metallic spacer layouts.
- Material caution — PP is inherently flexible, so check thread fit and tightening method.
- The fully threaded 500 mm length accepts compatible M8 nuts along the rod and can be cut carefully to shorter sections.
- Use for light-duty spacing, alignment and positioning where a lightweight PP M8 threaded rod is preferred. Also known as studding, allthread, threaded bar.
Product Summary
These M8 x 500 mm white PP threaded rods are supplied as 2 fully threaded polypropylene plastic rods. Polypropylene is lightweight, absorbs very little moisture and provides useful electrical insulation, with resistance to many aqueous acids and alkalis where the material is suitable. This size suits lightweight spacers, panel separation and cut-to-length non-metallic threaded sections, especially where a simple non-metallic threaded bar is preferred over a metal fixing. The full-thread form accepts compatible M8 nuts along the rod and can be cut carefully if shorter plastic sections are needed. PP is inherently flexible, so check thread engagement, tightening method and operating environment before use. Supplied with 4 nuts.
