- Useful where low weight, low moisture uptake and electrical insulation are part of the material choice.
- Cut from the 1000 mm length into shorter M16 threaded sections where the application allows.
- Use only where the joint design suits polypropylene; check nut engagement, temperature and chemical exposure. Also known as studding, allthread, threaded bar.
Product Summary
These white polypropylene (PP) M16 x 1000 mm threaded rods are supplied as 2 fully threaded plastic bars. The broad M16 thread suits large plastic spacers, separation pieces and custom non-metallic threaded sections where PP is chosen for low weight, low moisture absorption, electrical insulation and resistance to many aqueous acids and alkalis. PP is inherently flexible, so this rod should be used only where the assembly design and service conditions suit a plastic threaded component. Supplied with 4 nuts.
