- Thread and head: metric thread with 1.25 mm pitch; cylindrical head 13 mm across and 7.8 mm high, for a 6 mm hex key
- Glass-fibre reinforced: stiffer, with higher tensile and flexural strength than unfilled PA66
- Higher heat deflection temperature and lower moisture absorption than unfilled PA66; the bolts do not rust and are non-magnetic
- Tightened and loosened with a hex key; also called socket cap screws, hex socket screws or plastic screws
