- PPS keeps its hardness, shape and chemical resistance at high temperatures and has very low thermal expansion
- Melting point 281 degrees Celsius; continuous use in air up to 200 degrees Celsius, depending on the application
- The hex head sits above the surface, so a spanner or socket can grip it to tighten or loosen the bolts; also called hex bolts, hexagon head screws, plastic bolts or plastic screws
