- Sensitivity 5 arc minutes per 2 mm: the tilt needed to move the bubble 2 mm; a smaller angle means a more sensitive vial
- The stainless steel housing holds the vial in place; the mounting holes let you fix it to suitable equipment
- An air bubble and reading lines show whether a surface is level along the tube
