Blue polypropylene pan cross-head bolts provide a coloured plastic fixing for electrical enclosures, electronics and workshop repairs. Thread sizes are M3, M4, M5, M6 and M8, with lengths spanning 20 mm to 60 mm across the range. Pack options are 20 or 160, depending on the product.

Are blue polypropylene bolts electrically insulating?

Yes. Polypropylene provides electrical insulation, and the pan-head format uses a cross-head drive for screwdriver tightening.

Do polypropylene bolts absorb water?

No. Polypropylene does not absorb water and has excellent moisture resistance. It is inherently flexible, has a high strength-to-weight ratio and is moderately resistant to impact. It also resists acids, alkalis, oils and solvents. The moisture resistance suits damp environments.
