A thin flexible section joins two rigid sections, so the hinge opens and closes without a pin and can close fully. Bond the flat leaves to the panels with a suitable adhesive, which is not supplied. The slim, low-profile hinges have a long flex life and suit lids, covers and cases. Fit them flat across the joint; where a hinge wraps around a 90-degree corner, use a hasp or lock to hold the lid.
