Product Summary
These natural M8 x 500 mm threaded rods are supplied as a pack of two and are made from 30% glass-fibre-reinforced nylon (PA66+GF). Each rod has an 8 mm nominal diameter, 500 mm length and 1.25 mm pitch. The glass reinforcement gives a stiffer and more dimensionally stable plastic threaded bar than unfilled PA66, while still keeping the part non-metallic and easy to cut with suitable tools. This size is useful for medium-length reinforced spacers, alignment rods and cut-to-length threaded sections, especially where a metal rod is unnecessary or undesirable. PA66+GF is harder and less flexible than plain nylon, so allow for careful cutting, clean thread engagement and suitability checks before final fitting. Use with compatible M8 nuts for light-duty spacing, alignment, mounting and general plastic-threaded assembly work. Supplied with 4 nuts.
