    • Made from 30% glass-fibre-reinforced nylon (PA66+GF), providing greater stiffness and dimensional stability than unfilled PA66.
    • Reinforced nylon is less flexible than unfilled PA66, so avoid repeated bending and check tightening method.
    • The fully threaded 500 mm length can be used as supplied or cut carefully into custom reinforced plastic sections.
    • Use for light-duty spacing, alignment and positioning where a reinforced plastic M6 threaded rod is useful. Also known as studding, allthread, threaded bar.

    Product Summary

    These natural M6 x 500 mm threaded rods are supplied as a pack of two and are made from 30% glass-fibre-reinforced nylon (PA66+GF). The glass-fibre reinforcement gives a stiffer plastic thread than unfilled PA66 and helps dimensions stay steadier during light spacing, alignment and cut-to-length work. This size suits slimmer reinforced spacers, alignment rods and cut-to-length plastic threaded sections, especially where a reinforced non-metallic threaded bar is useful but a metal rod is not preferred. The reinforced material is more brittle than unfilled nylon, so check the assembly, mating nuts and tightening method before use. Supplied with 4 nuts.
