- Made from 30% glass-fibre-reinforced nylon (PA66+GF), providing greater stiffness and dimensional stability than unfilled PA66.
- The reinforced nylon can still absorb moisture, so allow for dimensional changes in damp conditions.
- M6 format suits slimmer spacer and alignment work where a stiffer plastic rod is preferred.
- Cut to length and use with compatible M6 nuts; avoid impact, tight bending and use where the load has not been checked. Also known as studding, allthread, threaded bar.
Product Summary
These natural M6 x 1000 mm threaded rods are supplied as a pack of two and are made from 30% glass-fibre-reinforced nylon (PA66+GF). Compared with unfilled PA66, the glass-fibre reinforcement improves stiffness and dimensional stability, making this size useful where a slimmer plastic threaded rod needs to hold its shape better over a longer run. The trade-off is a stiffer, less forgiving material, so avoid tight bending and over-tightening. Cut to length for spacers, alignment pieces and light-duty non-metallic assemblies after checking load and fit. Supplied with 4 nuts.
