These natural M10 x 500 mm threaded rods are supplied as a pack of two and are made from 30% glass-fibre-reinforced nylon (PA66+GF). Each rod has a 10mm nominal diameter, 500mm length and 1.5mm pitch. The glass reinforcement gives a stiffer and more dimensionally stable plastic threaded bar than unfilled PA66, while still keeping the part non-metallic and easy to cut with suitable tools. This size is useful for larger reinforced spacers, position setting and cut-to-length plastic threaded bars, especially where a metal rod is unnecessary or undesirable. PA66+GF is harder and less flexible than plain nylon, so allow for careful cutting, clean thread engagement and suitability checks before final fitting.
