- One-piece living hinge: a thin flexible section joins two rigid leaves; it can close fully, with no pin to rust or jam
- Adhesive fixing: bond the flat leaves to the panels with a suitable adhesive; adhesive not supplied
- Extruded from high-impact acrylic and a urethane elastomer: slim, low profile with a long flex life
- For lids, covers and cases; fit flat across the joint, and add a hasp or lock where the hinge wraps around a 90-degree corner
Product Summary
Two black flexible hinges in acrylic / polycarbonate, 1150 x 34 mm and 3.5 mm thick. Each hinge is a single piece extruded from high-impact acrylic and a urethane elastomer. A thin flexible section joins two rigid sections, so the hinge opens and closes without a pin and can close fully. Bond the flat leaves to the panels with a suitable adhesive, which is not supplied. The slim, low-profile hinges have a long flex life and suit lids, covers and cases. Fit them flat across the joint; where a hinge wraps around a 90-degree corner, use a hasp or lock to hold the lid. Acrylic and polycarbonate are similar plastics and are used interchangeably for these hinges. Living hinges are also called integral or pinless hinges.
