- One-piece living hinge: a thin flexible section joins two rigid leaves; it can close fully, with no pin to rust or jam
- Self-adhesive: translucent double-sided mounting tape is already applied; peel off the backing and press onto a clean surface; the tape resists UV light and moisture
- Extruded from high-impact acrylic and a urethane elastomer: slim, low profile with a long flex life
- For lids, covers and cases; fit flat across the joint, and add a hasp or lock where the hinge wraps around a 90-degree corner
Product Summary
Two clear self-adhesive flexible hinges in acrylic / polycarbonate, 950 x 40 mm and 3.5 mm thick, with translucent double-sided mounting tape already applied. Each hinge is a single piece extruded from high-impact acrylic and a urethane elastomer. A thin flexible section joins two rigid sections, so the hinge opens and closes without a pin and can close fully. Peel off the backing and press the hinge onto a clean surface; the pressure-sensitive tape bonds on contact, so no glue is needed. The tape resists moisture and UV light. The slim, low-profile hinges have a long flex life and suit lids, covers and cases. Fit them flat across the joint; where a hinge wraps around a 90-degree corner, use a hasp or lock to hold the lid. Acrylic and polycarbonate are similar plastics and are used interchangeably for these hinges. Living hinges are also called integral or pinless hinges.
