- Our 50% glass fibre (GF) filled material has superior tensile, flexural and impact strength, enabling it to be used in load bearing applications.
- Glass fibre reinforcement was introduced to PA66 to improve its mechanical properties and thermal stability, enabling use in demanding applications.
- The addition of glass fibres enhances the heat deflection temperature, enabling the material to perform reliably at elevated temperatures.
- Cross drive design for screwdriver installation and wide pan head underside for even load distribution. Also known as cross-recess pan screws, pan head machine screws.
Product Summary
PA66+GF pan cross head bolts, nuts and washers are made from 50% glass fibre reinforced nylon for improved stiffness, strength and heat resistance compared with standard PA66. The composite has reduced moisture absorption and is suitable for demanding plastic fastening applications in automotive, industrial machinery and equipment assemblies. Pan cross head bolts and screws are also known as plastic bolts, plastic screws, machine screws and crosshead screws.
