    Product Summary

    Living hinges are also known as integral hinges. These hinges work best in flat applications rather than wrapped around a 90-degree corner, unless a hasp or lock is used. These clear acrylic / polycarbonate hinges have a slim, low-profile design and are extruded from high-impact acrylic and a urethane elastomer. A thin, flexible section allows the two rigid sections to open and close without a separate hinge pin. These non-tape versions require bonding adhesive for assembly. Adhesive is not provided. Acrylic and polycarbonate are similar thermoplastics often used interchangeably; acrylic gives good strength and UV resistance, while polycarbonate gives higher impact and heat resistance.
