- Il POM presenta elevata rigidità e stabilità dimensionale, che gli consentono di resistere alla deformazione sotto sforzo o carico e a temperature variabili.
- Il POM ha un'eccellente resistenza chimica a oli, solventi e carburanti.
- Il polimero è resistente all'umidità e ha un basso tasso di assorbimento dell'umidità, che contribuisce a mantenerne la stabilità dimensionale in ambienti umidi o bagnati.
- La testa esagonale rimane al di sopra della superficie per facilitare l'accesso durante il montaggio, la rimozione e il rimontaggio. Noti anche come bulloni esagonali, viti a testa esagonale.
Il POM offre elevata resistenza meccanica, rigidità ed eccellente resistenza chimica, insieme a basso attrito e buone proprietà antiusura. Il ridotto assorbimento di umidità favorisce la stabilità dimensionale. È ampiamente utilizzato per viti, bulloni e componenti in applicazioni industriali e tecniche.
