- Il PVDF resiste ai raggi UV e alle radiazioni gamma e offre una buona resistenza agli agenti atmosferici.
- Il PVDF presenta un'eccellente resistenza meccanica, alla trazione e all'abrasione, combinando durata e flessibilità.
- Le viti a esagono incassato si serrano e si allentano con una chiave esagonale. Note anche come viti TCEI, viti a esagono incassato.
Il PVDF è impiegato in applicazioni che richiedono resistenza chimica e stabilità termica. Resiste agli acidi, alle basi deboli, agli idrocarburi e ai composti alogenati, ma le basi forti, gli agenti caustici, gli esteri e i chetoni possono degradarlo. Il PVDF resiste ai raggi UV e alle radiazioni gamma. Offre buona resistenza meccanica, tenacità e resistenza all'abrasione, con stabilità termica da -40 °C a 150 °C. Il materiale resiste all'acqua e ha proprietà ritardanti di fiamma.
